Registered Psychologist,
Clinic Director
Jarret brings a unique blend of educational experience and clinical expertise to his community-based practice. His journey in mental health began in the classroom, where he spent three years teaching a specialized program for youth facing severe emotional and behavioral challenges. These formative experiences shaped his understanding of resilience and growth, leading him to reflect: “I’m not sure who taught who more because I learned so much from my students.”
Building on this foundation, Jarret transitioned into school counseling, working with students aged 5-18 and their families for over a decade. During this time, he pursued advanced clinical training in Chicago, balancing his commitment to serving students with his dedication to professional development as he worked toward becoming a Registered Psychologist.
Jarret has developed specialized expertise across multiple areas, including family counselling, sport and performance psychology, trauma-informed therapy, and industrial/organizational psychology. This diverse training allows him to address the complex, interconnected challenges that individuals and families face in today’s world.
Currently, Jarret practices with other mental health professionals at their new clinic and has developed an additional specialty of supporting people who have been in a Motor Vehicle Collision as well as training in EMDR for adults and children.
Grounded in Adlerian psychology, Jarret’s therapeutic approach emphasizes encouragement, mutual respect, and collaboration. He believes that every individual possesses the capacity for growth and positive change, and he works alongside his clients as a partner in their journey toward greater well-being and personal fulfillment.
Whether working with individuals, families, athletes, or organizations, Jarret is committed to creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
